Cheryl Miller : Thanks Ahmad.

Michael...you know a bit about Mike Bibby.

Where do you think he going to take this franchise?

Michael : Well Cheryl, Bibby has all the talent he needs to take this ball club to the next level. He's a poised and smart point guard. He's got self belief but I'll tell ya....losing will mess with anyone's head big time. We had that in Chicago from 1984 to 1988 when we started to turn it around. The decision to run more high energy plays for the younger players will suit Bibby perfectly because of his poised, heads up style of running the floor. I think Bibby will eventually be better than Jason Williams because of his grasp of the fundamentals. It always goes back to that doesn't it.... In my early years I was the flashy shooter. But until I started to knock down my jumpers consistently - I was just a big shooting guard on a losing ball club.

Cheryl : Words of wisdom from

the Great One himself AND....confessions of the soul....

( chuckles all round )

James...let's talk about the front court situation with the Bears for a bit...

James : Cheryl, the Bears have got themselves as good a young front court as any in the NBA in Shareef, Othella and Big Country. Last season there were questions about Country's committment level but he seems to have bounced back with more enthusiasm in the new order in the organization. Othella is going from strength to strength and .. man...he will be a premier power forward in this league for years to come. No rocket science there. Shareef...there's a guy who has the ability to lead this ball club...and he's carried the fight extremely well over the last 4 years. His offensive skills..no question...however he IS vulnerable defensively against the Garnetts and Kobes of this league. His rebounding has improved greatly this season. He just needs to get more aggressive man-to-man. The switch to a high tempo game will benefit Shareef. He has the ability to run and needs to fill the lanes more consistently and create the space that Bibby can feed into. There you go Cheryl...

Cheryl Miller : And...who better to give

advice about filling the lanes in a running

game than James Worthy himself....LOL.

Michael : Cheryl...when James gets out into the lanes, you can't find a better finisher on the break. That's the beauty of basketball right there. Attacking the ball...attacking the basket. Its not about free throws or half court offense. Fans are electrified by creativity. That's what its all about.

Cheryl Miller : And they sure have some creative players down there in Jambalaya Park.

We're almost out of time ... so on behalf of James Worthy and Michael Jordan...

this is Cheryl Miller for the NBA on NBC.
